The goal of this run was to get some elevation training in. I headed south of where we were staying down to the Wailea area. There, I was able to run up some hills from the coastal area to the Pialani highway. It offered a 230 ft. elevation gain over a mile of the course. As my first run on the relay will have significant elevation gain, I took the opportunity to start training for it.
